I have written
poetry since I was a pre-teen, and have been a freelance writer
and book author since 1981 when my first article was accepted
for publication in a national magazine. My books have since been
reviewed in over 200 publications, including magazines, newspapers,
newsletters and online, and sold worldwide. I have written books
on the fiber arts, gardening, crafts and cooking, a series of
non-fiction educational early readers for children and two popular
online classes. In 2005 I turned my attention to my artwork and
writing personal essays and poetry.
